THE MORAY FIRTH RADIO (MFR) CHARITY AUCTION 2006

Brodie McHaggis is quickly capturing the hearts and minds of those who have followed him through his first adventure and they are asking when they can read his next one.  He is already creating more mayhem in his next adventure, which is due out later this year.  He's turning into a right wee star!                              

Brodie's first adventure follows him through a world that runs alongside of us - a world that we're often too busy to notice.  But, it is there.  Have you ever wondered what your cat or dog is intensely staring at?  It's not just a fly, a bit of dust, or fresh air ... we're just too preoccupied to notice the other world.  But be warned - once you follow Brodie through his adventure and into his world, there's no turning back.   

Brodie wanted to do something special for his fans and he agreed to go under hammer at the MFR Charity Auction 2006.  When he first heard about going under the hammer ... he did think that he was going to be hit on the head, but when we explained it, he soon realised that it wouldn't actually be him that went under the hammer ... he's learning our ways, but it is taking a while.

A First Edition copy of "Brodie McHaggis and the Secret of Loch Ness", number 299 of 300, and a unique framed copy of the book cover illustration were auctioned together by the MFR Charity.  The framed picture (printing kindly donated by Studiograff) is signed by the Author, Helen Campbell, and dedicated to the MFR Charity Auction 2006.  It is the first of its kind - so is a real collector's item!

Brodie would like to express his thanks to those who placed their bids and says a huge thank you to the final bidder, raising £86 for the Charity.
